changes

it's been awhile.

changes have come and gone.

what i'm doing with my life is all over the map:

- ending a long term relationship

- looking to buy a house in a tough market

- looking for job opportunities

- building new friendships

it's been a busy summer and now that it's fall, i think i need to start on moving on and changing things up.

i've been keeping up with the workout/pilates/tennis regime. it's been tres helpful for my health - mentally, physically, you name it

i ended up scoring a gold medal at the World Police and Fire Games with my tennis partner. that was great fun.

i'm looking forward to 2011 as i'll be competing again barring any injuries...

well hello there!

long time no talk.

yes, it's been a while. i haven't really had much to say. or i haven't really had much i've felt like posting to the whole blogging community - all of 1 person who reads this.

life has been going at a rate of warp speed for me. what that entails is for me to know. suffice to say there may be significant changes ..well let's hope.

here's a brief glimpse: had a few interviews for differnet postings. looking for a change of scenary but won't be totally upset if i don't get what i want. i find that every now and then you have to shake things up a little. can't let complacency rule your life.

i started pilates a few months back; what wonders that has done for me. it's seriously stopped most of my back problems. who knew being active would help your body feel better.

for those who i haven't told, i'll be competing the World Police and Fire Games being held in our beautiful province. i'll be playing tennis - mixed doubles only as i'm not fit enough compete in singles. it'll be fun. hot as well. i'm hoping no one gets heat stroke from the insane weather we've been having.

anyways it's late so i'll bid you adieu from one of my favourite lines from this summer's best movie (i've seen so far)..... Rainman did it and he was a ritard.....

I'm Still Here

just haven't found inspiration to blog lately.

i've recently discovered pilates. after my sister in law continued insisting, i decided to get off my lazy arse and try it. i headed to a semi private lesson with my mommy and find it to be quite interesting. my plans are to quit the gym - the gym i haven't stepped foot into in over a year ..or two :| - and continue with pilates on a regular basis.. or whatever regular basis i can with shift work.

i've also stepped up my efforts in attempting to get active by playing tennis more. it's been the 3rd week and i've kept it up. thank god for the good weather we've been getting (minus the wind storm).

the clouds broke and it's sunny today...

so i'm actually going to be working a full block of 5 work shifts this week. no time off; no exchanges. that'll be a change. but before work, it'll be a lil dim sum with the gals (and boys).

honestly, i haven't found anything interesting to blog about.

life's been good

work, and play are happening. unfortunately more work than play but i've taken some time off before fiscal ends and that'll give me time to buy a much needed dress for a wedding in june...actually two weddings on the same day.
