I'm Still Here

just haven't found inspiration to blog lately.

i've recently discovered pilates. after my sister in law continued insisting, i decided to get off my lazy arse and try it. i headed to a semi private lesson with my mommy and find it to be quite interesting. my plans are to quit the gym - the gym i haven't stepped foot into in over a year ..or two :| - and continue with pilates on a regular basis.. or whatever regular basis i can with shift work.

i've also stepped up my efforts in attempting to get active by playing tennis more. it's been the 3rd week and i've kept it up. thank god for the good weather we've been getting (minus the wind storm).

the clouds broke and it's sunny today...

so i'm actually going to be working a full block of 5 work shifts this week. no time off; no exchanges. that'll be a change. but before work, it'll be a lil dim sum with the gals (and boys).

honestly, i haven't found anything interesting to blog about.

life's been good

work, and play are happening. unfortunately more work than play but i've taken some time off before fiscal ends and that'll give me time to buy a much needed dress for a wedding in june...actually two weddings on the same day.

i'm still around, find me in my usual spots if you need...

sorry for the rant the other day.

been quite moody this week. it was a tough week. i was snappy with the people i work with; i'm usually able to handle the teasing they give me with whatever, my height is the usually brunt of their jokes. so yesterday i snapped back. not sure if they noticed.

took a mental health day as i don't think i would be a lot of good with coworkers or the public. wouldn't want a complaint on my file.

went to watch He's Not That into You (or whatever it's called) wiht a friend (from work). nice for the invite. we cringed through the movie but in the end we both agreed that we liked it. lots of movie stars; i'm not sure if they could afford all of their salaries! Anniston, Barrymore, Affleck, Long.... the list goes on. that's just crazy. oh well. whatever they got, it was a good movie. definitely a stress reliever.

did you ever think about what you were doing? getting in your Buick with two teenage girls...drunk? do you have any remorse? well maybe the next years sitting in a jail cell will help you think about your past and your future.

i think you're a coward. you hit two people, got out of your car and ran away leaving your passengers...only to get caught.

i have no words to express my sadness at the moment - just anger.

maybe i'll have more to say at a later time when i've processed all this.
